Meet Spartacus!
Spartacus has suffered abuse and neglect.
He was found in the home of a woman who kept dozens of cats locked in tiny cages, without even a litter tray. Spartacus was the only cat who wasn’t confined to a cage. Instead, he was kept in a very small, dark, damp room. He wasn’t in a cage because he was the only cat who fought back, making it impossible for her to handle him well enough to lock him up.
Fortunately, volunteers discovered the house and rescued the cats.
It took Spartacus quite some time to understand that he was finally free and living in a normal home. For a long time, he would almost always keep his head turned towards the wall. Thankfully, over the past few months, his whole demeanour has changed. He is happier, more sociable, and finally ready to look for a home of his own.
Spartacus isn’t the kind of cat you can pick up and cuddle, but he wants to feel your presence and know you’re there. With time and patience, he will even let you pet him while he eats.
And just look at how handsome he is!
He is also incredibly playful. He loves toys, running around, and enjoying his newfound freedom in a spacious environment.
Spartacus is looking for a safe, peaceful home where he can continue to heal, be himself, and enjoy the rest of his life without fear. He may need a little time to trust you, but he deserves the chance to discover what it means to truly belong.

The adoption fee includes and is exclusively used for the cat’s expenses, such as:
• Vaccination
• Sterilisation
• Passport
• Microchip
• Veterinary care
• Travel costs
Adoption fees are as follows:
• Young/adult cat: 280€
• Senior (8+ years): 200€
• Unsterilised kitten: 230€
• Pair of young/adult cats: 480€
• Pair of seniors: 320€
• Pair of unsterilised kittens: 400€
Fairy Tails is a non-profit organization based in Greece. We are a passionate group of volunteers who cannot stand by while animals suffer on the streets. We believe every living being deserves love, dignity, and a chance for a better future. We rescue animals in need; each has its own story, and we often don’t know their full past. What matters most is the love, patience, and care we offer them as they begin a new, happy chapter they deserve. We fight for their right to a better life in every way we can. We are also dedicated to supporting cat colonies by providing food, essential medical care, and sterilization programs to improve their well-being.
